Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking qualified primary teachers to fill short-term supply, long-term, maternity cover and permanent roles across Neath Port Talbot.

Opportunities include day-to-day supply, long-term placements and full- or part-time posts in Foundation Phase, KS1 & KS2. You will plan and deliver lessons, manage classrooms and adapt to pupil needs, with support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Primary teaching experience, including NQTs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Professional and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to high-quality teaching and pupil outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Curriculum for Wales.
• Create a positive, well-managed learning environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs, including ALN.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community.
