Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking qualified primary teachers for roles across Neath Port Talbot, offering access to day-to-day supply, long-term, maternity cover and permanent opportunities. Roles include Foundation Phase, KS1, and KS2 with flexible full-time or part-time options.

We provide local school access, honest school information, and dedicated consultant support throughout placement, including free CPD via MyProgression and a Refer a Friend bonus.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience in primary teaching including NQTs is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.
• Create a positive, well-managed learning environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet individual pupil needs, including ALN (Special Educational Needs).
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the wider school community.

The roles

Depending on the opportunity, you'll be responsible for:
