Aspire People are recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teachers to support schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas with daily supply and short-term teaching cover.

This opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy working across different school environments, can adapt quickly to new classrooms and want flexibility over their working arrangements.

ECTs with QTS are welcome to discuss suitable opportunities, subject to individual schools' requirements.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent UK-based school experience within the last two years
• Confident managing a primary classroom
• Strong subject knowledge and lesson delivery skills
• Can adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups
• Demonstrates effective behaviour management
• Reliable, professional and committed to safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience
• Following lesson plans and learning objectives provided by the school where available
• Maintaining positive classroom routines and behaviour expectations
• Adapting activities to meet pupils' different learning needs
• Supporting pupils with SEND to access classroom learning
• Assessing understanding during lessons and providing appropriate feedback
• Managing classroom resources and ensuring continuity of learning
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and reporting requirements
• Providing reliable cover during teacher absence or other staffing requirements
