Job summary

Teaching Personnel is working with welcoming primary schools across Southport to appoint talented Primary Teachers for immediate and upcoming vacancies. We welcome experienced teachers and ECTs seeking long-term progression, with flexible full or part-time roles and potential for permanent contracts.

Positions span EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with local schools and ongoing support from an education consultant. Driving is beneficial but not essential, and payments are competitive on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A passion for helping children achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress.
• Manage behaviour effectively.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
• Support pupils of varying abilities and needs.
