Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Primary Teacher for Southport and surrounding areas, with flexible day-to-day and long-term opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. We seek qualified teachers with QTS in the UK and experience in primary settings.

You will benefit from competitive daily rates from £130 to £160 per day, with higher rates for longer terms depending on experience and responsibilities. Join a dedicated consultant support team and access CPD and professional development

Qualifications

• QTS in the UK is required
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexible, reliable and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maximise learning
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and school leadership teams
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Supporting pupils to achieve both academically and personally
