Cover People are currently recruiting Primary Teachers for supply assignments across Trafford. These roles involve day-to-day and short-term coverage, with opportunities across multiple schools for different year groups. Start dates are immediate, and the work offers flexibility to align with your availability and preferences.

Successful candidates will have QTS and recent experience in UK primary teaching, delivering high-quality lessons and maintaining engaging learning environments.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible and able to work across year groups and settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the class confidently throughout the school day.
• Deliver lessons using prepared plans and resources.
• Maintain a positive and purposeful classroom atmosphere.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies.
• Differentiate activities to meet pupil needs.
• Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff.
• Provide feedback to the school after assignments when required.
