Sussex Teachers is recruiting Primary Supply Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to work in local primary schools across Brighton & Hove. Whether you are looking for one day per week or a full teaching schedule, we offer a wide range of supply teaching opportunities across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

As a local, independent, family-owned agency established in 2007, we have built trusted relationships with primary schools throughout Sussex.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A reliable, professional and flexible approach to teaching.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging lessons using school-provided plans and resources.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Adapt confidently to different schools, year groups and classroom settings.
• Mark work where required and provide feedback for the returning teacher.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
