Responsibilities

• Support the teacher with lessons and classroom organisation
• Work with individuals or groups needing extra explanation
• Help pupils stay focused and engaged in learning
• Assist phonics, reading, writing or numeracy activities
• Support pupils with SEND in line with school guidance
• Prepare resources and maintain an organised learning environment
• Supervise pupils during transitions, breaks and lunchtimes
• Promote positive behaviour and respectful relationships
• Report concerns promptly to staff
