Randstad UK is seeking an adaptable Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant for day-to-day supply bookings across Bristol. You will provide vital 1-to-1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, across EYFS to KS2, while working flexible hours 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term time.

Ideal candidates have proven SEN experience and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, with strong classroom management and a proactive attitude to adapt resources and follow teacher plans in diverse school

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children with SEN.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (essential for fast supply deployment).
• High adaptability, strong classroom management, and confidence in new school environments.

Responsabilités

• Provide immediate 1-to-1 and small group SEN support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Establish rapport quickly with pupils and school staff.
• Follow teacher plans and EHCP strategies, adapting resources on the spot as needed.
• Assist pupils with emotional regulation, focus, tasks and social interaction.
• Maintain a calm, inclusive environment during transitions and unstructured times.
