Job summary

Educate Group are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support class teachers on a supply basis across Wirral primary schools. The role is full-time and flexible, covering sickness, maternity, training and appointments as needed.

Candidates should hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 TA, HLTA, CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education, BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies, or equivalent, or experience as a Learning Support Assistant. In-house TA training is offered.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Available to work 5 days a week.
• Experience with ALN (additional learning needs) and/or primary education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction of head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Programmes (IEP) and monitor progress.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation.
• Maintain student records and support teachers with data and administration.
• Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop social skills.
