Teach Now Limited in Harrow is seeking a reliable Supply Teaching Assistant to support primary schools on a flexible, part-time basis. You may work in EYFS, KS1, KS2 or SEN support, with day-to-day or short-term bookings.

The role involves welcoming pupils, supporting activities, running short interventions, and helping with learning resources. A safeguarding mindset and right to work in the UK are required. Training and a dedicated consultant are provided.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children or young people.
• Genuine interest in primary education.
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct.
• Confidence to work in unfamiliar classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming pupils and helping them settle into learning.
• Supporting teacher-led activities and independent work.
• Encouraging pupils who lack confidence or concentration.
• Delivering short interventions with guidance from the teacher.
• Helping children with communication or learning needs.
• Reinforcing classroom expectations and positive behaviour.
• Assisting with displays, equipment and learning resources.
• Providing feedback to the class teacher at the end of the day.
