Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking Primary School Teachers for flexible short-term and long-term assignments across Worksop and Chesterfield. The role offers a potential pathway to permanent positions.

Successful candidates will prepare and deliver lessons, ensuring a positive learning environment while maintaining high expectations for students. Strong communication skills and experience in a classroom environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a classroom environment or similar education setting.
• At least 3 months' experience working with young people.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons across primary year groups in line with school expectations.
• Provide effective classroom cover for short-term and longer-term teacher absence.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
• Support pupil progress by maintaining high expectations for learning and conduct.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and Connex Education regarding assignments.
