Job summary

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming schools in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas.

We offer day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term positions with potential for permanent roles. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and collaborate with school staff, all within a supportive consultant network.

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary Teachers with QTS or equivalent.
• Passionate about providing high-quality education.
• Confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Able to deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning styles.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
• Promote high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Support the wider life of the school and contribute to a positive school community.
