Job summary

Connex Education is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Primary) to work across Bridgwater's primary schools. This flexible role covers day-to-day supply, longer placements, or work that fits around your commitments.

You will support pupils in different classroom settings, help them engage and learn, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. Weekly PAYE pay is offered with no umbrella companies, plus access to development resources.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent desirable.
• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within primary classrooms.
• Work alongside class teachers to help pupils engage and achieve their potential.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
• Adapt confidently to different school settings and classroom routines.
