Job summary

New Directions Education are currently recruiting PPA Teachers for primary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas, offering opportunities to provide classroom cover while class teachers undertake their planning, preparation and assessment time. Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Able to adapt quickly to different year groups and schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Provide PPA cover across year groups.
• Maintain continuity of learning and follow lesson plans.
• Adapt activities to meet diverse student needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with academic and social development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school staff.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
