Job summary

Smile Education is seeking a dedicated PPA Cover Primary Teacher to support primary schools across Wolverhampton on a part-time basis. The role offers flexible hours and the chance to impact student learning through engaging, well-structured lessons.

You will hold QTS, have experience with KS1/KS2, and use effective classroom management and assessment strategies to maintain positive learning environments while collaborating with school staff and consultants.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide PPA cover for primary school teachers, delivering engaging and structured lessons in accordance with school curriculum guidelines.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment during PPA sessions.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and support students' progress.
• Use assessment strategies to evaluate student understanding and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Prepare and organise resources for PPA sessions, ensuring a seamless transition for students.
