Job summary

Purple DPSS in Cambourne is seeking a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support N, a 10-year-old with Autism and PDA, in daily activities and community access. The role is part-time, on-site, with a pay of £13 per hour, and requires an Enhanced DBS, right to work, and references.

You will provide one-to-one support, accompany N on bus rides, swimming and visits to the city centre and park, helping him to feel safe, confident and independent, with a flexible pattern to suit family needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for N, enabling him to access the community safely
• Support will include accompanying N on bus rides, swimming, visits to the city centre, trips to the park, Greggs and other activities of his choice, following his interests and preferences
• Promote N's wellbeing, confidence and independence
