Job summary

TheAlpha Academies Trust (AAT) is seeking a Trust Payroll Officer to join our Central Team. This role delivers accurate payroll services to over 500 staff across our Trust, with 20 hours per week working flexibly over 3 or 4 days.

The successful applicant will understand HMRC payroll requirements, pension schemes and maintain data accuracy while upholding confidentiality and providing excellent customer service. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in a school or trust setting.
• Understanding of HMRC payroll requirements.
• Knowledge of pension schemes and employee pay arrangements.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
