Job summary

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to undertake on appointment.
• Proven experience in supporting high‑quality early years education, particularly in phonics and mastery-based maths.
• Good understanding of early years development and educational frameworks.
• Strong commitment to inclusion and SEND support.
• Ability to develop positive relationships and work effectively within a team.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and delivery of lessons for whole class and individuals.
• Prepare learning resources to facilitate engaging, inclusive activities.
• Assist with pupil assessment and provide feedback for progress reviews.
• Support children with SEND to access and participate in learning activities.
• Manage behaviour positively and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
