Vetro Recruitment is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support learning and wellbeing in a Wirral school. You will assist with planning, delivery of lessons, and pastoral support to pupils.

This part-time, temporary role offers weekly wages, ongoing training opportunities, and a supportive education-led consultant. A DBS check is required, with teamwork to foster inclusive EYFS practice.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance or higher.
• Experience supporting high-quality classroom teaching, including phonics and mastery-based mathematics.
• Deep understanding of early years development and frameworks.
• Commitment to inclusion, SEND support, and professional learning.
• Ability to develop positive relationships and work constructively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons on whole-class and individual basis.
• Preparing resources to support learning activities and ensuring pupils are supported pastorally.
• Contributing to evaluating student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher to meet individual learning needs.
• Supporting inclusive practices and SEND support to enable children to thrive as learners.
• Promoting positive behaviour management and building strong relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
