Job summary

NatCen, the UK’s largest independent social research organisation, seeks part-time interviewers to visit homes across communities. You’ll conduct interviews on health, housing and transport topics, guiding conversations and recording responses on a tablet or laptop.

Expect travel across your area, with mileage paid and a launch bonus, plus ongoing bonuses for performance. Essential are a valid UK driving licence, DBS check, reliable broadband, and strong verbal and written English.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car
• Class 1 Business insurance
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS check required
• Reliable home broadband
• Laptop or tablet with camera
• Comfortable using basic technology
• At least 18 hours available per week
• Flexibility for weekdays, evenings and weekends
• Strong verbal and written English

Responsibilities

• Visit people in their homes to conduct vital interviews
