Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an Early Years Assistant at Murrayburn EYCC (nursery class) for a fixed term until 29 June 2027. Salary £26,806-£27,032 pro rata for part time hours, with 15 hours per week across 38 weeks.

You will support our team to provide a fun, creative learning environment for pupils. SSSC registration is required; PVG checks apply and pre-employment checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• SSSC registration is a requirement for the role.
• PVG Scheme checks are required prior to employment.
• Experience in early years is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support Murrayburn EYCC team to provide a fun and creative learning environment for pupils.
• Assist with planning, activities and supervision during 38 weeks sessional period while working 15 hours per week.
