Job summary

SGS is seeking a reliable Part Time Driver for our pharmaceutical site in Deeside on a zero-hours contract. You will deliver pharmaceutical samples and clinical trial materials across the UK, and move instruments between SGS sites for calibration. Full UK driving licence required.

The role is flexible, with 8:00 to 16:30 shifts, 2–3 days per week, and occasional cover for holidays. Applicants should be organized, detail-oriented and proactive, with prior driving or logistics experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive materials.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work; previous driving or logistics experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical samples and clinical trial materials to nominated delivery points across the UK
• Transport instruments between SGS sites for calibration and servicing
• Maintain company vehicles to high hygiene standards, ensuring no risk of cross-contamination
• Support the warehouse team when required, including holiday and absence cover
