Job summary

Eurofins Laboratory in Sheffield is seeking a part-time driver for 15 hours per week (Mon 8:00–16:00, Tue 8:00–16:00). Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will collect and deliver orange boxes to customers around the south from our Sheffield Laboratory, handling samples with care and ensuring timely, secure transport.

You must hold a UK driving licence and have experience with small wheelbase vans, be well presented, and demonstrate strong time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence is required.
• Experience with small wheelbase vans is essential.
• Presentable appearance and good timekeeping are important.
• Polite manner when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Make collections and deliveries of orange boxes to and from customers around the south, operating from the Sheffield Laboratory.
• Ensure goods are secured in the vehicle and properly stowed.
• Report delays, accidents and vehicle defects to the logistics manager.
• Carry out daily/weekly vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Maintain a high standard of customer care and represent Eurofins professionally.
