Job summary

LF&E, a leading UK healthcare logistics provider, invites applications for five Pharmaceutical Delivery Drivers to join the Cardiff depot. You will deliver medications to pharmacies and healthcare sites, upholding safety, compliance and excellent customer service on every journey.

We value reliable drivers who can work independently within a supportive team, following pre-planned routes and UK transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
• Understanding of temperature-controlled vehicles and maintaining product integrity during transport.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare delivery environments desirable.
• Strong geographical knowledge and route planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, reliable and professional.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medication on pre-planned routes within expected timescales.
• Follow all safety procedures on-site and during delivery.
• Collaborate with fellow drivers and depot managers to ensure professional and efficient service.
• Ensure compliance with UK transport laws, including Good Distribution Practices and MHRA guidelines.

Join LF&E, one of the UK's leading healthcare logistics providers. Since 2008, we've grown from a family-run business into a nationwide organisation with 23 sites and more than 300 employees. We specialise in temperature-controlled healthcare logistics, ensuring vital medications reach patients, pharmacies, and healthcare providers safely and on time. We're currently looking for five Pharmaceutical Delivery Drivers to join our Cardiff depot and become part of a team that delivers more than parcels, we deliver care.

The Role:

As a Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring medications and healthcare products are delivered safely, securely, and on time. You'll be the face of LF&E, providing a professional and friendly service while supporting the healthcare sector and improving patient outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and being part of a supportive team making a real difference every day.

Working Hours:

• 45 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, working 5-6 days per week
• Day shifts with start times between 6:30am and 7:45am
• Saturday availability required approximately every 6-7 weeks
• Daily finish times may vary depending on route requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver medication on pre-planned routes within expected timescales
• Follow all safety procedures on-site and during delivery
• Collaborate with fellow drivers and depot managers to ensure professional and efficient service
• Ensure compliance with UK and EU transport laws, including Good Distribution Practices and MHRA guidelines
• Always maintain excellent customer service standards

What we’re looking for:

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred
• Understanding of temperature-controlled vehicles and the importance of maintaining product integrity during transportation
• Experience working within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical delivery environment is desirable
• Strong geographical knowledge and route planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, reliable, and professional approach to work
• Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
• Successful completion of DBS and reference checks
• Right to work in the UK
