Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collection and Network Driver at the Rossendale Delivery Office (BB4 7LU) for a fixed-term 9 months. You will work 17.5 hours per week, spread across five days from Monday to Sunday, between 15:00 and 18:30.

Duties include collecting and delivering mail, checking post-boxes, and visiting business customers as needed. You must have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and be able to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Holds a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work outdoors and walk for long periods, in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail on your route and at processing centres.
• Sort mailbags and ensure items reach the right place at the right time.
• Visit business customers at prearranged times and support receiving and delivering election materials when required.
