Job summary

Barker Ross Group in Leeds is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative to maintain communal areas across our property portfolio. This role offers 15 hours per week, with Monday to Friday shifts and potential extra weekend work.

You will work independently or as part of a small team, following cleaning schedules and COSHH guidelines. You will vacuum, mop, dust, sweep, and report repairs while keeping equipment secure and maintained.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

• Able to follow cleaning schedules and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas, including hallways, staircases, courtyards, paths and bin stores.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop and carry out litter picking.
• Clean windows within easy reach.
• Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas secure.
• Report any repairs or maintenance issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
