Aramark UK is hiring a Cleaner for Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk, YO7 3EY on a temporary contract lasting until July 2027. The role is 20 hours per week with a Monday–Friday pattern, offering flexible hours to fit around school commitments.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness across living and communal areas, with full training provided. The position includes on-site parking, access to the gym, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable and self-motivated approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsabilités

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess.
• Working independently and occasionally as part of a team to ensure all cleaning duties are completed.
• Carrying out general cleaning duties including ablution facilities, kitchens, communal areas, and accommodation.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising designated areas.
• Managing waste disposal and adhering to waste segregation requirements.
• Making up guest bedrooms to the required standard.
• Checking cleaning equipment and reporting any faults or maintenance concerns.
• Identifying and reporting health & safety hazards to management.
• Following cleaning schedules and company procedures at all times.
