Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cleaner at Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk. You will help keep accommodation, living and sanitary areas clean, safe and well-maintained.

The role is permanent, part-time, 20 hours per week with flexible 4- or 5-day patterns. Training is provided on site, and eligibility to work in the UK and security checks are required. On-site parking, gym access, and the Employee Benefits app are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience is desirable but full training will be provided on site.
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK and reside for longer than 3 years; security checks required.
• Reliable mode of transport due to site location and limited public transport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleaning standards across assigned areas such as accommodation blocks, offices and common spaces.
• Work independently or as part of a team to ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Perform general cleaning tasks (ablution, kitchens, sweeping, mopping, hoovering, waste disposal) and follow waste segregation rules.
• Report hazards and check equipment, escalating issues to management when needed.
