Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. in Leeds is seeking a suitable personal assistant to provide flexible support for a man with visual impairment in LS16. The role is 10 hours per week, with afternoon blocks from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Driving is mandatory; you will assist with school runs, meals, shopping, and weekend outings, and respond to emergencies. You must be trustworthy and able to develop rapport, staying flexible in attitude and with the working day.

Qualifications

• Reliable and trustworthy with ability to develop rapport
• Flexible in attitude and working day
• Full UK driving licence and own car
• Training in safeguarding adults/children, food hygiene and first aid

Responsibilities

• Pick up 3 children from school and bring them home
• Meal preparation in emergencies
• Shopping in emergencies
• Take children out during weekends
• Any other reasonable request that may be made
