Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking qualified and GOC-registered Optometrists to deliver outstanding patient care while building strong relationships with customers and branch teams. You will ensure exceptional service within communities, whether newly qualified or experienced, and contribute to the branch's progress.

You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations in 25-minute slots, provide guidance on spectacles and contact lenses, and collaborate with the team to drive service

Qualifications

• GOC-registered Optometrist with a passion for excellent patient care.
• Willing to engage in CPD and professional development.
• Able to work effectively in a friendly team and community setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with 25-minute test slots.
• Use clinical judgement to diagnose and manage eye health conditions.
• Provide advice on spectacle and contact lens options tailored to patients.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and branch teams.
• Collaborate with the branch team to support business growth and service delivery.
• Participate in local enhanced schemes and pre-registration supervision when applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products and industry developments.
