Qualifications

• Minimum of five National 5 grades or equivalent.
• Flexible and adaptive approach to suit the operation.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of colleagues.
• Ability to use initiative and take ownership for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deploy to support peaks in operational workload across multiple functional departments.
• Supporting formulating and dispensing test items for use in scientific studies
• Delivering essential care to animals, including husbandry duties
• Administration of regulated procedures
• Documenting clinical signs and observed behaviours on data systems
• Management of lab equipment and reporting faults
• Prepare study files, label pots, vials and assist with study setup
• Conduct quality control checks if required
• Carrying out necropsy procedures
• Undertake relevant training across the division
• Maintain skills for flexible deployment as required
• Work with colleagues across the business regularly
• Move towards obtaining a home office licence
• Commit to unpredictable work schedules across operations
• Maintain flexibility in day-to-day responsibilities
