Job summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking nursery bank staff to work across various schools and nurseries in Eastbourne. The role offers flexible hours and placements tailored to your lifestyle, with opportunities to work with children aged 3 months to 11 years across multiple settings.

You will be placed in nurseries and schools with flexible days week by week, benefiting from competitive hourly pay including holiday pay, and ongoing support to settle into the nursery routine.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 qualified teaching assistants or early years practitioners preferred
• Open to unqualified candidates with recent relevant experience
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic; willing to help out in setting

Responsibilities

• Support nurseries and schools as required in the setting
• Help set up and tidy the room, supervise activities and ensure safety
• Play with the children and support learning environments
• Temporary practitioner with flexible days and hours across week-by-week placements
