Job summary

SENDhelp is recruiting qualified Nursery Practitioners for nurseries in Hemel Hempstead. This role offers ad-hoc, flexible cover and long-term placements, with hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support young children in a safe, nurturing Early Years environment, following safeguarding procedures and DBS checks as part of onboarding. You must hold a CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Nursery qualification, or above, and be able to travel to Hemel Hempstead.

Qualifications

• CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Nursery qualification or above.
• Experience in a nursery/early years setting preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Hemel Hempstead and commit to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support children through play and structured activities.
• Assist with learning, communication and development.
• Observe and support individual progress.
• Assist with mealtimes and personal care where required.
• Create a positive, safe and stimulating environment.
• Work with nursery team and room leaders.
• Follow safeguarding and nursery procedures.
