Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our supply team in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. The role offers flexible hours with shifts from 8:00am to 6:00pm and a pay rate of £18.00 per hour.

You will support nurseries across Hoddesdon and surrounding areas, delivering high standards of care and learning. Applicants must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, have strong communication skills, and be prepared to work across settings.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
• DBS on Update Service desirable (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Support children's learning and development through engaging play and activities.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care where required.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of care.
• Adapt confidently to different nursery settings while delivering excellent childcare.
