Job summary

N Family Club is hiring a Flexi Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and hygienic environment at our Surrey nurseries, with the base in Guildford. The role supports varied shift patterns under a Casual Working Agreement, offering flexible hours and competitive hourly pay.

You’ll work in partnership with the Nursery team, greet families, water plants, keep communal areas inviting, assist with laundry, and ensure sanitation standards across bathrooms and rooms in line with COSHH guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Good Knowledge of COSHH and understanding of Health and Safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with the Nursery team to provide high standards of cleaning to ensure the smooth running of the nursery each day.
• Be welcoming to children, parents, staff and visitors at all times.
• Ensure all plants both internally and externally are watered and well kept
• Ensure all communal areas, including the welcome areas and parent areas are well presented, attractive and inviting at all times.
• Report any damage or faulty equipment immediately to the nursery management team and remove it if necessary.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of all bathrooms and nappy changing areas throughout the day.
• Carry out daily laundry duties as required.
• Promote good hygiene standards throughout the nursery, encouraging good hygiene alongside the nursery team.
