Job summary

N Family Club is seeking a Flexi Housekeeper in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. You will work with the Nursery team to maintain a clean, hygienic environment for our nursery users, ensuring welcoming spaces for children, parents and staff.

Key duties include maintaining bathrooms, handling laundry, managing cleaning provisions, and assisting educators when needed. COSHH knowledge and a passion for childcare are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping
• Good knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety best practices

Responsibilities

• Work with Nursery team to maintain high cleaning standards
• Be welcoming to children, parents, staff and visitors
• Water and maintain plants inside and outside
• Keep communal areas attractive and inviting
• Report damage or faulty equipment to nursery management
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of bathrooms and changing areas
• Report on cleaning provisions required within budget
• Carry out daily laundry duties as required
• Ensure cleaning products are appropriate and stored per guidelines
• Handle deliveries and distribute them
• Promote good hygiene standards throughout the nursery
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policy
• Support kitchen cleaning in absence of kitchen team
• Occasionally assist Educators and safeguard children
