Job summary

N Family Club in Reading, Berkshire is seeking Flexi Educators to support our 135-place nursery. You will cover nurseries as needed, lead our learning-through-play approach, and maintain smooth routines from meals to play times. Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, apprentice, or early years educator).
• Desirable safeguarding/child protection training and willingness to update training regularly.
• Genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• A positive, glass-half-full outlook.
• Bags of drive and motivation with a ‘make it happen’ attitude!
• A solutions-driven approach to problems.
• A love for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cover our nurseries when we need you, being flexible on start and end times.
• Lead our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Promote child welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.
