Job summary

N Family Club in Winchester is seeking a Flexi Housekeeper to maintain a clean, hygienic environment for our nursery team, parents and children. This casual role offers flexible shifts, working 0 hours with pay based on experience and dedication.

The 104-place brand new nursery opens in 2026, in the heart of Winchester, Hampshire. You will help keep all areas spotless, welcome visitors, and support the nursery with laundry duties while ensuring safety and COSHH compliance.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge and Health & Safety best practices.
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.

Responsibilities

• Work with Nursery team to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Be welcoming to children, parents, staff and visitors.
• Water and maintain plants inside and outside.
• Keep communal and welcome areas clean, tidy and inviting.
• Report damaged equipment and remove if needed.
• Maintain bathrooms and changing areas hygiene.
• Manage cleaning provisions within budget.
• Carry out daily laundry duties as required.
• Store cleaning products safely per COSHH guidelines.
• Receive deliveries and distribute within the nursery.
• Promote hygiene across the nursery with the team.
• Adhere to the company H&S policy.
• Support kitchen cleaning duties in absence of kitchen team.
• Interact with children and safeguard them when needed.
