Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for Shipston-on-Stour with flexible hours to fit around your availability. You will support children aged 9 months to 5 years, assisting with activities and routines in a warm, safe setting. Shifts run 8am-6pm on weekdays, with term-time and holidays pattern.

Immediate start, PAYE, and ongoing CPD opportunities. The role offers weekly rota work, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities to join a supportive team within a busy nursery

Qualifications

Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification desirable but not essential
Experience working with children in nursery/school/childcare setting
Two references supporting previous experience with children
Caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting children aged 9 months to 5 years
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across opening hours
Positive, reliable and adaptable attitude

Responsibilities

Support children across the setting with activities and routines
Ensure a safe, engaging and supportive environment for children
Adapt to shifts across the nursery's opening hours
Assist with daily tasks and contribute to a positive learning environment
