Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is hiring Meter Readers in Fort William for flexible part-time work close to home. No experience is required; you will collect data from gas, electricity and water meters on commercial and residential sites using a handheld device.

This permanent role offers basic pay £13.23–£13.97 per hour, a bonus scheme up to £2000 monthly, company car, pension, 28 days holiday, and full training.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Physically fit and able to bend, lift, kneel, and walk several miles daily.
• Clear DBS check and background checks as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Collect meter reads from gas, electricity and water meters for commercial and residential properties.
• Update reads on handheld device and input data for each location.
• Provide excellent customer service during visits and inspections.
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment and perform related surveys.
