Job summary

Amplius is seeking a Reserve Community Outreach Support Worker in Peterborough to assist customers with enduring mental health conditions. This flexible, relief role involves supporting independence, tenancy management and wellbeing on an as-needed basis, with shifts across 8:30am–8:30pm, including evenings and weekends.

Salary is £13.45 per hour, with a 0-hour contract. Applicants should have GCSEs, a full UK driving licence, experience in housing/mental health, and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in housing and mental health roles.
• Experience supporting vulnerable people with professional boundaries.
• Experience creating support plans and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with enduring mental health conditions to live more independently.
• Provide outreach support and help customers achieve their goals.
• Create and review support plans and carry out risk assessments.
• Work with mental health teams and other organisations to meet needs.
• Encourage customers to look after health and take medication as prescribed.
• Help customers manage tenancy, including paying rent and home upkeep.
• Keep accurate records and provide a high-quality support service on a reserve basis.
