Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in Worksop to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment up to Level 3 across mechanical engineering, maintenance, mechatronics and machining programmes.

The role is ideal for an experienced engineer moving into education or an existing tutor seeking a new challenge. It is a permanent role, 22.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £32,199 plus a £5,000 Market Force Supplement dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ qualification in engineering.
• Mechanical engineering industry experience.
• Teaching or assessing qualification or willingness to work towards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding education and training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching and assessment across engineering programmes.
• Support learner achievement and progression.
• Develop innovative and effective learning resources.
• Monitor and track learner performance.
• Prepare lessons, assessments and marking activities.
• Set SMART targets and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum and support teams.
