Job summary

Academics is currently recruiting for supply Maths Teacher opportunities across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Retford. The role offers flexible, ongoing supply and starts ASAP, with daily pay between £140-£195 depending on experience and qualifications.

As a Maths Teacher you will deliver engaging lessons to KS3/KS4 pupils and have opportunities to cover other subjects where appropriate. DBS and QTS are preferred for the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Create a positive learning environment and promote participation.
• Maintain effective behaviour management and clear classroom expectations.
• Support pupils with varying abilities to achieve learning objectives.
• Provide general secondary cover where needed.
