Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking detail-oriented individuals to join as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail in Manchester. Shifts run 4 hours to 12 hours across Early, Late and Night patterns, with pay rates linked to shift type.

You will unload mail, sort by postcode, and move items through the warehouse while meeting tight deadlines. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but training is provided for all new hires.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training provided.
• Able to push trolleys and lift items as part of daily duties.
• Willing to work across shift patterns including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Unload mail and parcels.
• Sort items by postcode and route through warehouse.
• Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines; some teams sort over a million items per shift.
• Handle election materials and certain items (food products or alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
