Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail in the Manchester area. Shifts run across all days, with a minimum of 4 hours per shift and potential extensions up to 12 hours. Duties include unloading mail, sorting by postcode, and moving items through the warehouse.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable to different shift patterns, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced warehouse environment experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible and able to switch between tasks
• Ability to push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg
• Stand and walk for long periods during shifts
• Training provided for all positions

Responsibilities

• Unload mail and parcels
• Sort items by postcode and move through warehouse
• Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines (some shifts >1 million items)
