Job summary

Liquid Personnel Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to support the London Borough of Sutton. This flexible role manages community-based cases from assessment to completion, including equipment provision, risk management and major adaptation referrals.

The role offers independent work within a supportive Adult Social Care service, with dedicated consultant support and access to exclusive Occupational Therapy opportunities.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy degree or diploma completed.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience in Adult Social Care, community services, or Local Authority setting.
• Strong knowledge of assessment, equipment and major adaptations.
• Experience completing risk assessments and reviews.
• Excellent case management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage cases to completion.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete Occupational Therapy assessments and progress cases through to closure.
• Record assessments and documentation accurately on Mosaic.
• Obtain manager sign-off prior to case closure.
• Assess and recommend appropriate equipment where required.
• Complete risk assessments and reviews to ensure safe and effective interventions.
• Identify and progress major adaptation referrals when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with service users, carers, Social Workers, health professionals and partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure cases are completed within required timescales.
