Locum Ready is seeking a General Practitioner to cover sessions at a GP practice in Bootle. The role suits GPs looking for flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment with clear daily workflows.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver patient assessments and provide continuity where required. The practice offers strong administrative support and a team-focused approach to patient care.

Formación

• GMC-registered General Practitioner is required.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List is required.
• Recent UK primary care experience is required.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.

Responsabilidades

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
