Locum Ready is seeking a General Practitioner to provide flexible locum sessions at a GP practice in Horley. You will manage a varied caseload, deliver patient assessments and ensure continuity of care within a well-structured primary care team.

The role offers ad-hoc or regular bookings with potential for longer-term arrangements, supported by strong admin workflows and a collaborative, team-focused environment. NHS framework familiarity and safe prescribing are valued.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with current UK license.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
