Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse for flexible regional primary care clinic sessions across Pitmedden. This role offers structured treatment room and clinical review work within well-supported GP environments, giving you the opportunity to manage routine primary care nursing activity with autonomy and consistency.

You will support local clinical teams with essential nursing duties, chronic disease activity and day-to-day treatment room procedures.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered with primary care nursing experience.
• Immunisation training is desirable but not mandatory.
• Cytology training is a plus.
• Competent in GP clinic procedures and clinical notes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment room procedures including wound care and dressings.
• Support chronic disease reviews and routine treatment room activities.
• Administer immunisations when trained and perform related checks.
• Maintain accurate digital clinical notes and patient records.
• Work independently within GP settings as needed.
